Welcome to my class webpage. I would like to take a minute to tell you about myself. I am a Missouri State Graduate, with a Bachelor’s degree in special education. While at MSU I was involved with Student Council for Exceptional Children where I was an officer. Although I have worked in Special Ed for the Branson school district and substitute taught special education in the Hollister, Branson and Forsyth school districts. Along with my formal employment, I have plenty of life experience having a son with ADHD and a son with Autism, and caring for at risk teen girls.

I have two sons Nate 22 and Nick 19. My oldest son Nate is in the Army as a combat engineer stationed at Ft Cabazos Texas. Nick is a Super Senior and is learning valuable life skills. We are involved in music, fishing and swimming. We love the Ozarks and what it provides for our family.

I am excited to be at Gainesville and have the opportunity to teach in such a great school district. This will be my 7th year teaching in the Gainesville school district. This year I am pleased to join the Elementary team and come down the hill from the high school, although I will miss all the students I have come to love at the high school, I am looking forward to teaching a new group of students.
