My name is Sheryl (Silvey) Lawson and I currently teach ELA and social studies for 5th grade.  I grew up mainly in Louisiana and attended elementary school there, but graduated from Gainesville High School.  I attended College of the Ozarks and Missouri State University where I completed my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Elementary Education.  I taught three years of split 5th/6th grade at Mtn. View-Birch Tree and 1 year of split 5th/6th at Lutie, before coming to the Gainesville R-V District.
