Greetings Everyone,

My name is Jana Bales Gauley. This will be my 13th year of teaching, and I am looking forward to working with all the students and staff at GES. I started my teaching career here at GES years ago, and I am very happy to be back on board. 

A little bit about me. I am proud to say I live on a family owned and operated Angus beef farm in Bakersfield. I have two grown sons, Chris (Goob) Bales. The oldest lives in Bakerfield as well. My youngest son, Taylor Bales, lives and works in Mountain Home, Ark. I also have 4 wonderful grandsons; Tyson 13, Bentley 12, Brody 10, and Mason 7. 

Hobbies: I love to float the river on my kayak during the summer and I enjoy being outside and working on my farm. I also spend summers at the local ball parks watching the grandkids play ball. We love dogs and enjoy our inside dog Toby. I have a strong passion for conservation and animal rescue.
