I grew up in West Plains, Missouri, but recently moved to Good Hope after marrying the love of my life, Joe.  This is my fifteenth year to teach and bring with me a varied range of experience.  I began my career as a Model Teacher for the Arkansas Reading First Program, and have worn many hats during my career.  I have taught all grades, including first, second, third grades in the regular classroom, seventh grade writing, k-12 music and band, and middle school drama.  I truly love teaching and working with children of all ages.  

Joe and I were married in December of 2019 and have four children.  Dane, 23, Aaron, 19, Sarah, 13, and Isabella, 5.  We enjoy weightlifting and can be found most evenings at the gym.  My favorite hobby is watching my husband arm wrestle and powerlift, he is in the top ten in the world and holds many records.  My family, faith, and home are very important to me.  I also enjoy singing and playing music.  Music has been a big part of my life. 

I am very excited to be a part of the Gainesville community.  I have many family ties here and look forward to working with the students and faculty!  Go Bulldogs!!
